Life of Pi 6

After concluding the book "Life of Pi," I decided to watch the movie, directed by Ang Lee and noticed some minor differences between the two. The book focuses more on the introduction and childhood of Pi, as in the movie, it is explained in roughly 10 minutes. Additionally, many of his mentors, his zoo knowledge, and even his studies on zoology and religion were cut in the movie. It also occurred to me that in the movie, Pi never manages to tame Richard Parker. The tiger's prusten growl, which is a puff through the noise that expresses friendliness, is completely left out in the film which defines Richard Parker and Pi's relationship. The movie is also missing the scene where he meets the blind man, in fact he never even goes blind. Contrasting between the two, there were many differences but not enough to dramatically change the story line.
